His royal fabulousness, Bayo Adegbe is the brain behind the fashion House Modela. He graduated from the Lagos State University (LASU) where he studied Microbiology. Thankfully for us, fashion stole his heart along time ago and after his degree he pursued his dream full-time. He has been working within the industry for years under different guises: as model, make-up artist, modeling instructor, stylist, model manager and couture maker in designing high fashion and haute couture. I love his work because his designs are admiringly innovative, original & fabulously over-the-top. I wish more Nigerian designers would step out of the safety zone of being commercial and show us some real fashion. Definitely the most daring Nigerian designer i've seen out there- c'mon, he has male models dressed in silver sequins!! Gotta love it.
